Sizing a bank?

The battery-bank calculator turns your daily energy into the Ah and kWh you need — and the designer builds the rest.

Ah vs Wh

Watt-hours = amp-hours × voltage. Wh is the fair way to compare batteries, because a 100 Ah 12 V battery (1,200 Wh) holds half the energy of a 100 Ah 24 V battery. Remember usable energy is less than nameplate (depth of discharge).

Questions

Why convert to Wh?

Amp-hours alone hide voltage. Watt-hours let you compare a 12 V and a 48 V bank on equal energy terms.
